Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark Electric Ballroom London 7th December 1979


Back in September 1979 fresh faced Liverpudlian musicians with the rather daunting name of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark provided tour support for Gary's first nationwide headlining tour. Some 14 years later OMD returned the favour and took Numan, who it is fair to say was in a period of creative doldrums, out on tour as their support.

Here we have an early set recorded not long after the 'Touring Principle' when the band provided support for US art rockers Talking Heads.
